How Nationwide delivers commission statements

We found no public Nationwide page on the timing or layout of the commission statement itself, or on agency bill statements. Platform availability varies by system; Nationwide’s sheet points to its matrix and your sales or territory manager.

What to check on Nationwide statements

Which statements reach your system

Following Nationwide’s own advice, check once a year that direct bill commission download is switched on for every agency code you hold. A code left out never shows up as missing in your system. Background: what is an AL3 file.

Downloaded is not reconciled

The download puts the carrier’s figures in your system; it does not tell you whether they match your rate or cover every policy. See when the statement doesn’t match your AMS.

Checking it with Lapidar
