The founding agency pilot

The offer

• $99 a month plus applicable sales tax or VAT, calculated at checkout and billed monthly in US dollars.
• That price is locked for 12 months for the 7 founding agencies.
• Create your account first (free, with your work email or Google), then subscribe from inside it. The pilot is active as soon as checkout completes.
• Cancel anytime from “Manage billing” in your account; you keep access to the end of the month you paid for.
• If Lapidar finds no discrepancy (a missing, underpaid or duplicated commission of at least $1) in your first 30 days, write to us and we refund your first month through Stripe.

What the pilot includes today

• Statement upload. Carrier commission statements as CSV, XLSX or PDF with a text layer (the kind you can select text in), plus a book export from your agency management system.
• Reconciliation findings. Each statement line is matched to a policy in your book. You get the lines that are missing, underpaid, paid twice, chargebacks, and lines not in your book, each with the dollar amount and the statement line it came from.
• A printable carrier letter listing the items you choose to raise, ready to send yourself.
• Your data, under your control. Export your findings at any time, and delete your statements and account when you are done.

What it does not do yet

• No OCR for scanned PDFs. If a statement is a scan or photo, it won’t read. Ask the carrier for CSV, or flag the file with “Didn’t read right?” in the app; flagged layouts decide what we support next.
• No AMS integration. You export your book from your system and upload it. Nothing connects to your AMS directly.
• Some carrier layouts will need a column mapping the first time you upload them. That is part of what the pilot is for.

We will never contact your carriers. The findings and the decision about what to pursue are yours.

How onboarding works

1. Create your account at app.getlapidar.com with your work email and a password (we email you a link to confirm the address) or with Google. It is free and starts no subscription.
2. Subscribe from inside your account through the secure Stripe checkout. The pilot is active immediately; there is no invite to wait for.
3. Upload your statements and book export and read the findings.

How billing works

• You buy through Link, a Stripe company. Link is the reseller and merchant of record for the subscription, so your card statement shows something like LINK.COM* LAPIDAR.
• Receipts and invoices come from Link, by email, to the address you use at checkout. Link also calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT.
• Cancel or change your card under “Manage billing” in your account. Refunds go back through Stripe and Link to the card you paid with.
• Lapidar itself is provided by Alan Balcerowiak in Poland, who also answers support at contact@getlapidar.com.

How your data is handled

Your statements and book export are used only to check your commissions. They are stored on our server in the United Kingdom (London), and are not sold, shared or used to train anything. You can export your results and delete your data whenever you like. When a subscription ends, your data stays for 30 days so you can export it, and is then deleted.
