What has changed in Lapidar, newest first. Entries are written from our own records and only list things that shipped.
- Founding agency pilot opened: $99 a month plus tax, 7 founding agencies, subscription through Stripe checkout with Link as merchant of record.
- Self-serve sign-up: create a free account with a confirmed email or with Google, then subscribe from inside the app.
- Sign in with Google.
- Deleting an account also cancels its Stripe subscription.
- Account emails moved to one plain template, in HTML and plain text.
- Three new guides: commission rate changes, commission on premium audits, and booking commission income.
- Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum published for the pilot.
- Public status page at status.getlapidar.com, with uptime monitoring.
- App: limits on uploaded file size and contents; access stops when a plan expires.
- Two new guides: writing a commission discrepancy letter and disputing a chargeback.
- Two new pages: AMS commission reconciliation, and commission audits for independent agencies.
- New guides, including selling a book of business and tracking commissions through a book roll.
- Reconciliation engine: reads CSV, XLSX and text PDF statements, normalizes policy numbers, handles installments and statement periods, and matches each line against the book and the commission schedule.
- Web app (private at first): accounts, file upload, column mapping, findings and a printable report; account deletion.
- getlapidar.com launched, with guides, a glossary of commission terms, and commission and chargeback calculators.
