# Pricing

One plan while Lapidar is in its founding pilot: USD 99 a month plus applicable tax, for up to 7 agencies, cancel anytime. Here is what it includes, what it doesn’t, and how billing works.

## In short

- One plan, the founding agency plan: **USD 99 a month** plus any applicable sales tax or VAT, calculated and shown at checkout, billed monthly in advance.
- Open to the first 7 founding agencies. The pre-tax price stays the same for 12 months from your first paid month, as long as the subscription stays active.
- Cancel anytime. If Lapidar identifies no discrepancy in your first 30 days, we refund your first month on request (once per agency).
- Creating an account is free and starts no subscription. Lapidar is new: no customers or published results yet.

## The founding agency plan

**From section 4 of the [terms of service](https://getlapidar.com/terms/), which govern if anything here differs.**

You create your account at app.getlapidar.com with your work email and a password, or with Google, then subscribe from inside it. When checkout completes, the pilot is active immediately; there is no invite to wait for.

## What is included

- **Statement upload.** Carrier commission statements as CSV, XLSX or PDF with a text layer (the kind you can select text in), plus a book export from your agency management system.
- **Reconciliation findings.** Each statement line is matched to a policy in your book. You get the lines that are missing, underpaid, paid twice, chargebacks, and lines not in your book, each with the dollar amount and the statement line it came from.
- **A printable carrier letter** listing the items you choose to raise, ready to send yourself.
- **Your data, under your control.** Export your findings at any time, and delete your statements and account when you are done.

## What is not included

- **No AMS integration.** You export your book from your system and upload it. Nothing connects to your AMS directly.
- **No OCR for scanned PDFs.** If a statement is a scan or photo, it won’t read. Ask the carrier for CSV, or flag the file with “Didn’t read right?” in the app.
- **No contact with carriers.** We never write to a carrier for you. The findings and the decision about what to pursue are yours.
- **No accounting, legal or tax advice.** Results are a starting point for your own review, and the service is a pilot, provided as is: it may not find every discrepancy.

## The money-back guarantee

If Lapidar does not identify a discrepancy within your first 30 days, we refund your first month’s payment on request, including any tax charged on it. A discrepancy means a missing, underpaid or duplicated commission of at least USD 1, found by comparing your own book with your own carrier statements. Lines reported as “not in your book” or as chargebacks do not count. The guarantee applies once per agency, including any later or related account of the same agency.

A full refund ends your access straight away and cancels the subscription, so nothing renews.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does Lapidar cost?

USD 99 a month plus any applicable sales tax or VAT, calculated and shown at checkout and billed monthly in advance. It is the founding agency plan, open to the first 7 agencies, and the pre-tax price stays the same for 12 months from your first paid month while the subscription stays active.

### Who bills me and issues the invoice?

You buy the subscription from Link, a Stripe company, which acts as reseller and merchant of record through Stripe's Managed Payments service. Receipts and invoices are issued by Link and sent to the email address you use at checkout, and your card or bank statement shows a descriptor such as LINK.COM* LAPIDAR. Lapidar itself is provided by Alan Balcerowiak, who handles support at contact@getlapidar.com.

### How are sales tax and VAT handled?

Link calculates, collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. The amount is calculated and shown at checkout, on top of the USD 99 monthly price.

### How do I cancel?

From Manage billing in your account, which opens the Stripe customer portal, from your order page at link.com, or by emailing contact@getlapidar.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

### Do I get money back if I cancel?

Payments already made are not refunded, apart from the money-back guarantee (first month refunded on request if no discrepancy is identified in your first 30 days, once per agency), refunds that Link issues under its own policies within 60 days of a payment, and cases where the law requires otherwise.

### What happens to my data after I cancel?

When your subscription ends, uploads and new checks stop, but your account data is kept for 30 days so you can sign in and export your findings. After 30 days it is deleted, unless you delete it sooner yourself. Deleted data can remain in server backups for up to 15 days. Billing records (amounts, dates, email, agency name, Stripe identifiers) are kept as long as Polish tax law requires.

### Is there a free trial?

No. Creating an account is free and starts no subscription, but running checks needs the subscription. The money-back guarantee covers the first month if no discrepancy is identified in your first 30 days.

### What if all 7 seats are taken?

You can keep your account but cannot subscribe until a seat opens. Email contact@getlapidar.com to be told when one does.
